In a spirit of openness and shared purpose, representatives from BIM Vietnam Community met with Allplan ‘representative and two strategic partners — Pontech JSC and Welegacy — to explore a long-term collaboration framework aimed at advancing BIM (Building Information Modeling) adoption across Vietnam’s construction industry.
The meeting brought together four distinct yet complementary areas of expertise. Allplan presented its latest product developments and roadmap, while actively listening to on-the-ground insights from the Vietnamese market. BIM Vietnam Community, as the country’s leading BIM education and community platform, shared its extensive network of practitioners and its capacity to drive knowledge adoption at scale.
Pontech, a design-focused firm, contributed the perspective of engineering professionals who rely on BIM tools daily to deliver complex design projects.
Welegacy, specializing in building operations and facility management, highlighted the critical role of BIM data continuity beyond construction — ensuring that digital models remain a living asset throughout the full lifecycle of a building.
The discussion underscored a powerful synergy across the value chain: from design and construction through to operations and maintenance. Each party recognized that their individual strengths, when aligned under a shared strategic framework with Allplan, could significantly elevate the quality and impact of BIM implementation in Vietnam.
All parties agreed to advance toward a formal partnership structure, with follow-up sessions planned to define specific areas of collaboration, joint initiatives, and support mechanisms. This meeting marks a meaningful step forward in a collective commitment to accelerating digital transformation in Vietnam’s built environment.
